Yemaya
was born in 1997 at Aqualand and is the daughter of Yaiza and Hector. She is
the first dolphin born at Aqualand and gave birth to her own first calf when
she was seven years old, in July 2004. The calf was a male and was named Adeje.
Five years later, in August 2009, she also gave birth to her second calf that
also was a male. This calf is still unnamed. Yemaya is participating in
Aqualand’s dolphin therapy.
