Allison was born on November 3rd 2005 at Brookfield Zoo and is the daughter of Tapeko and Hastings. She has two older halfsisters named Noelani and Kaylee and she is currently the youngest dolphin at Brookfield Zoo.Until April 2009 Allison lived together with her mother and her two halfsisters but unfortunately Brookfield Zoo had to euthanize Kaylee on April 3rd since she was very ill and between April 2009 and August 2009 Allison, Noelani and Tapeko were the only dolphins at Brookfield Zoo. On August 30th 2009, on the other hand, they were moved to Minnesota Zoo since Brookfield Zoo's dolphinarium was going to be re-built. They stayed at Minnesota Zoo until April 14th 2010 when they were moved back to Brookfield Zoo. When they were moved back to Brookfield Zoo a dolphin from Minnesota Zoo called Spree was moved to Brookfield too and today Allison lives at Brookfield Zoo with Tapeko, Noelani and Spree plus a male called Chinook, who arrived at Brookfield Zoo in April 2010.
