Chinook was born in 1983 and arrived at Brookfield Zoo for the first time on April 6th 2000 from Dolphin Connection. On May 22nd 2004 Chinook was moved from Brookfield Zoo to the Minnesota Zoo where he lived until June 11th 2007 when he was moved to National Aquarium. At National Aquarium Chinook's first daughter Bayley was born in July 2008. Bayley still lives at the National Aquarium today. In April 2010 Chinook was moved back to Brookfield Zoo where he is currently living with the four female bottlenose dolphins Allison, Noelani, Spree and Tapeko. Chinook weighs 195 kilograms and weighs 2.3 meters (weight 2009/2010). He eats 13 kilograms of fish each day (according to information from 2009/2010)
