On November 8th 2005 the, at that time, 7-year-old female bottlenose dolphin Calla gave birth to her first calf. The calf was a female and was named Calypso. Calypso’s father is Hekili and Calypso also has four halfbrothers that all are older than Calypso. Today both Calypso, Calla and Hekili lives in Seaworld Orlando’s dolphin centre Dolphin Cove while Calypso’s grandmother Lily lives in another dolphin centre at Seaworld Orlando (Dolphin Nursery) and her grandfather Lester lives at Discovery Cove.
