Finagain
was born on April 15th 1992 at Seaworld San Antonio and is the
daughter of Notchfin and Guy. Sometime between 1992 and 1996 Finagain was moved
to Seaworld Ohio where she lived until she was moved to Seaworld Orlando on
December 14th 1996. At Seaworld Orlando Finagain lived for about 6
months before she was moved to Dolfinarium Harderwijk on June 8th
1997 together with several other dolphins. Already the following year Finagain
gave birth to her first calf that was a male and was named T’salka and 6 years
later she gave birth to her second calf that also was a male and was named
Palawas. When Palawas was almost four years old, in May 2008, Finagain also
gave birth to her third calf that also was a male and was named Spat and later
the same year Palawas was moved to Allwetterzoo in Germany.
Today,
Finagain lives in Dolfinarium Harderwijk’s centre Dolfijnendelta together with
her youngest son Spat and several other dolphins while T’salka lives in the
centre DolfijndoMijn. Finagain has a scar behind her right eye making her easy
to recognize.
