Jordi
was born in 2000 and stranded on March 14th 2001. When he arrived at
Dolfinarium Harderwijk he measured 93 centimeters and weighed 16.4 kilograms.
About two years later, in 2003, he weighed 24 kilograms and measured 1.15
meters. Before Dolfinarium Harderwijk had a special centre for the porpoises
that could not be released Jordi only lived at Dolfinarium Harderwijk during
the winters while he spent his summers at another zoo in Holland called Neeltje
Jans. Today, on the other hand, Jordi lives at Dolfinarium Harderwijk all year
long in the centre Bruinvisbaai and he is probably the father of Kwin who was
born in the park in May 2009.
