Michael stranded on July 20th 2009 and arrived at Dolfinarium Harderwijk’s rehabilitation centre SOSDolfijn the same day. Since Michael was only a few months old when he stranded it was decided that he was not going to be released into the sea and therefore he was moved to Bruinvisbaai on January 2nd 2010. Michael weighs 11.5 kilograms and measures 87 centimeters (weight and length July 2009).
