Eigil is a male porpoise that was born in 1996. He came to
Fjord&Baelt when he got stuck in a fishing net in April 1997. He is the
only male porpoise at Fjord&Baelt. In 2006 Freja gave birth to a stillborn
calf that Eigil was the father of and about 1 year later Freja gave birth to
another calf that Eigil is the father of, Frigg-Amanda. Eigil can be recognized
by his scars under his dorsal fin.
