Naja is one of the two female seals at Fjord&Baelt. She was born
in 2000 at Odense Zoo in Denmark and she came to Fjord&Baelt in March 2001.
The seals and porpoises at Fjord&Baelt have been trained to recognize
symbols. Every animal has its own symbol and it is used to have the animal come
to the trainer when it is time for training. Naja’s symbol is a red circle.
