October 13th 2008 the female orca Lovey gave birth to her first calf.
Like most orcas and dolphins of other species the calf was born with tail
first. The day after the birth, on October 14th 2008, it was
discovered that the little calf was a male and a few months later he was named
Earth.
Today
Earth lives at Kamogawa Seaworld together with 6 other orcas: mother Lovey,
father Oscar, grandmother Stella, grandfather Bingo and the aunts Lara and Ran
II.
