Tina was born in 1979 and was captured on June 20th 1985. On April 4th 1986 Tina arrived at Kolmården Zoo with two other dolphins called Marina and Silja. Three years later, on March 29th or 30th 1989, Tina gave births to twins which is very uncommon among dolphins (there have been only 3 dolphin twin births in captivity). Both of the calves were males. Unfortunately one of the calves passed away the same day it was born and the other calf, who was named Tin-Tin, passed away on April 4th 1989.
Tina could be recognized by her clear underbite and was often swimming with Nephele. Unfortunately Tina passed away in 2006 or 2007.
