Zoo’s dolphinarium opened in May 1995. The dolphinarium consists of 4 pools; 1
large and 2 smaller plus one medical pool where the water level can be lowered
and where it is possible to lift the dolphins out of the water. Lisbon Zoo does
not use chlorine to clean the water in the dolphinarium.
