Soda was
captured on May 14th 1981 and arrived at Brookfield Zoo sometime
between 1981 and 1993. At Brookfield Zoo she gave birth to a calf in June 1993
and the calf, who was a female, was named Kobie. About three years later, on
October 24th 1996, Soda was moved together with Kobie to Lisbon Zoo
where they are currently living together with two other bottlenose dolphins
named Vicky and Neo. Soda is the oldest dolphin at Lisbon Zoo.
