Marina was captured on August 10th 1978 in the US. On May 29th 1995 she gave birth to her first calf who was a female and was named Zira and about three years later, on May 24th 1998, she gave birth to her second calf; the male Silver. In August 2003 Marina gave birth to her third calf who was a female and was named Estel. Today Zira lives at Aqualand and Estel at Marineland Mallorca while Silver lives at Marineland Catalunya with Marina and several other dolphins.
