Susie was captured on August 9th 1978 in the US and beofre she arrived at Marineland Catalunya she had lived at Madrid Zoo. In June 1990 she gave birth to her first calf at Marineland Catalunya but unfortunately the calf did not survive. Two years later, in July 1992, she gave birth to her second calf but neither this calf did survive. In June 1995 Susie gave birth to a third calf that did not survive but in July 2002 she gave birth to her daughter Lluna who a few years later was moved to Marineland Mallorca. A couple of years later, in 2008, Lluna unfortunately passed away and unfortunately Susie passed away that year too.
