On
August 24th 2003 the female bottlenose dolphin Manon gave birth to
her first calf. The father of the calf, named Kaly, was Manon’s brother Eclair.
When Kaly was nearly 3 years old her mother passed away. Eclair and Josephine
are still living at Marineland Antibes and Kaly has got two halfsiblings: Nala, Mila-Tami and Neo. Kaly lives in Marineland Antibes’ Lagoon togther with Alizé while Eclair, Josephine, Nala, Mila-Tami, Neo and the rest of the dolphins
are living in another dolphin centre at Marineland Antibes.
