Relatives: mother Nova, the halfsister Bossa and the halfbrothers Scotia and Deke

Cosmo was born on August 20^th 2003 in Seaworld Orlando’s dolphin centre Dolphin Nursery and his mother was Nova. Just nine days before Cosmo’s birth another dolphin calf had been born at Seaworld Orlando; Beetle, and Cosmo and Beetle became really good friends. In 2005 Cosmo and Beetle were moved to Dolphin Cove together with their mothers Nova and Bailey. The following year (on July 31^st 2006) Cosmo’s mother Nova unfortunately passed away but fortunately Beetle’s mother Bailey took care of Cosmo instead. Later the same year Beetle bit one of the park’s visitors in the hand and even if it was unknown why Beetle did bite the visitor, or if he really meant to bite, he and Cosmo were moved to another dolphin centre at Seaworld Orlando called Animal Care. In 2008 Cosmo and Beetle were moved back to Dolphin Cove but soon they were back in Animal Care again. Later they were moved to Dolphin Nursery where they lived until they were moved to Mirage Dolphin Habitat in March 2010.
