Candy
was born in 1979 and was captured 3 years later, on May 21st 1982.
Between 1982 and 1993 Candy lived at dolphiarium Riccione (in Italy) and there
she gave birth to her first calf in 1990. Unfortunately the calf passed away
the same year, but Candy became pregnant again and gave birth to another calf
in 1991. This calf was named Benny but unfortunately passed away the same year.
On March 13th 1993 Candy was moved to another dolphinarium in Italy
and in June 1993 she gave birth to her third calf, Tabo. On December 1st
1995 Candy was moved back to Riccione but about a year later she was moved to
the other dolphinarium again. In September 1997 Candy gave birth to a son named
Ulisse. Today both Ulisse and Tabo live at Oltremare with Candy and the other
dolphins. Before Candy came to Oltremare on February 20th 2004 she
lived one more time at Riccione. Candy gave birth to a calf in 2004, but
unfortunately the calf did not survive.
