Guama
was born in 1982 and was captured when he was about 5 years old, in December
1987. He has lived at Parc Asterix for more than 20 years, since June 1988, did not become the father of any dolphin calf until Galéo was born in August 2009. The male that instead is the father of
all the dolphins that have been born at Parc Asterix is Pichi who currently is
living at Kolmården Zoo. During the winter 2007-2008 Guama and the rest of Parc
Asterix’s dolphins lived at Dolfinarium Harderwijk because Parc Asterix’s
dolphinarium was re-built. They came back to Parc Asterix in spring 2008.
