On July
16th 2002 Athena gave birth to her first calf. The calf was a female
and was named Thais. The father of Athena’s calf was her own father Pichi who
currently is the father of 10 dolphins. When Thais was 2 years old she got a
little brother, Mininos. Today Mininos is living at Planete’ Sauvage together
with several other dolphins. The same year as Mininos was born Thais’ and
Mininos’ grandmother Amaya passed away and the year after that Pichi was moved
to Kolmården Zoo. In 2006 Thais and her mother Athena unfortunately passed
away.
