After Calamity had got stuck in fishing lines several times she was taken to Pet Porpoise Pool where she was rehabilitated during a whole year before she was doing fine again. After this it was decided that she was going to stay at Pet Porpoise Pool and she has lived there since then. On April 8th 2004 Calamity gave birth to her first calf but unfortunately this calf did not survive. A little more than one year later Calamity gave birth to her second calf, Bella, who today is a playful five-year-old. In December 2009 Calamity also gave birth to her third calf, Jet, who, like Bella, still lives at Pet Porpoise Pool. Calamity is sometimes called Cal. Calamity is not going to participate in Pet Porpoise Pool's dolphin shows during the summer 2010 since she is going to spend that time with her youngest calf Jet instead.
