Leevi was
born on August 18th 1993. He is the son of Näsi and Delfi and he was
the first surviving dolphin calf born at Särkänniemi. When Leevi was 3 years
old Veera gave birth to Leevi’s halfbrother Eevertti. So far Leevi and Eevertti
are the only surviving calves that have been born at Särkänniemi. At birth
Leevi weighed 20 kilograms and measured 1,28 meters. He nursed for about a year
and in 1994 he participated in the dolphin shows. Leevi weighs 200 kilograms
and measures 2,65 meters. His favourite toy is a ball.
