Gilly stranded on May 10th 1994 and was rescued by Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network. When he stranded Gilly was just a young calf and weighed only 23 kilograms. After less than one month at Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network he was moved to Seaworld San Antonio on June 3rd 1994 where he currently lives in the centre Dolphin Cove. Today Gilly weighs about 222 kilograms and is the father of four of the dolphins at Seaworld San Antonio.
