Hacksaw was captured on May 19th 1977 and is presumed to have been born in 1970. In May 1977 he arrived at Shark World where he lived until March 1st 1979 when he was moved to Marineland Florida. On March 26th 2001 Hacksaw was moved from Marineland Florida to Seaworld Orlando with several other dolphins. Hacksaw lived there for about three years before he was moved to Seaworld San Antonio on April 3rd 2004 with another male called Davy. Today Hacksaw lives in Seaworld San Antonio's centre Animal Care.
