Kai was captured on February 1st 1978 and arrived at Seaworld San Diego the same day. He lived there for several years until he was moved to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. On October 11th 1992 Kai was moved from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay to National Aquarium where he lived for five years before he was moved to Seaworld Ohio on October 22nd 1997. At Seaworld Ohio Kai lived for only a few months before he was moved to Seaworld San Antonio on April 26th 1998. Kai is currently living in Dolphin Cove with several other dolphins. He can be recognized by his dark colour.
