Sikku was captured on July 29th 1987 and is presumed to have been born in 1984. Between July 1987 and February 19th 1992 Sikku lived at National Aquarium but on February 19th 1992 she was moved to Seaworld San Antonio. On September 11th 2006 Sikku gave birth to her first calf but unfortunately the calf passed away on September 16th 2006. In July 2008 Sikku gave birth to her second calf who was a female and this calf was named Qinu. Today Sikku and Qinu and the rest of Seaworld San Antonio's belugas live in the centre White Whale and Dolphin Stadium. Sikku's sight is poor and she is almost blind.
