Alia was born on December 4th 2007 at Seaworld Orlando in the dolphin centre Dolphin Nursery. Her mother Ariel had given birth to two calves before; Alpha in 2002 and Cinco in 2005. Unfortunately Alia’s halfsister Cinco had passed away just about 1 year before Alia was born. Alia lived at Dolphin Nursery until the summer of 2009 when she was moved to Dolphin Cove (where she lives today) with Ariel and Khloe. The fact that Alia had been named Alia was not known until spring 2009.
