Gala was born in October 2007 at Seaworld Orlando in the centre Dolphin Nursery where all of Seaworld Orlando’s dolphin calves are born. She is the daughter of Griffith but her father is unknown. When Gala was about one and a half year old, in March 2009, she was moved from Dolphin Nursery to Dolphin Cove together with several other dolphin calves but her mother Griffith stayed in Dolphin Nursery. Today Gala is still living in Dolphin Cove while her mother still lives at Dolphin Nursery together with her youngest calf born in December 2009.
