Lily was captured on August 13th 1983 in Florida and arrived at New York Aquarium the same year. There she lived until November 9th 1992 when she was moved to Seaworld Orlando and that is where she has lived since then. In 1998 Lily gave birth to her first calf. The calf was a female and was named Calla. Two years later Lily gave birth to her second calf that was a male. This calf was named Tiger. About five years later Lily gave birth to her third calf that also was a male. The calf was named Potter and about two years later Lily gave birth to her fourth calf. Like the two previous calves this calf was a male and he was named Lagos. In March 2009 Lagos was moved from the centre Dolphin Nursery, where he was born, to the centre Dolphin Cove while Lily stayed in Dolphin Nursery. Later the same year Lily was moved to Dolphin Cove too.
