Gracie
was captured on February 20th 1987 and arrived at Seaworld San Diego
the same year. On November 25th 1991 she gave birth to her first
calf that was a female and was named Beaker. Seven years later Gracie also gave
birth to a son named Jones but unfortunately Jones passed away about one and a
half year later, in April 2000. In August 2005 Gracie gave birth to her third
calf but unfortunately this calf was stillborn.
Gracie
is easy to recognize; she is a large and dark dolphin with small eyes and she
is almost only grey.
