Malibu
was born on March 10th 1998 at Seaworld San Diego and is the
daughter of Barcardi and Stein. She was born in the park’s show centre and
lived there until she was moved to Rocky Point Preserve in 2003. The same year
Malibu became pregnant for the first time and in the summer of 2004 she gave
birth to her first calf. Unfortunately the calf was stillborn and later the
same year Malibu’s mother Barcardi passed away and Malibu was moved back to
Seaworld San Diego’s show centre. Today Malibu lives in the centre Animal Care together with her calf Kali that was born in June 2009.
