On June
10th 2009 Seaworld San Diego’s bottlenose dolphin Malibu gave birth
to a female calf. In July 2009 a naming contest was hold and the names that people could vote for were Kali, Silver and Avila. When the voting was closed on July 24th Cali was the winning name with 124 votes. Today Kali is living in the centre Animal Care together with mother Malibu and several other dolphins.
