Steime
was born on April 8th 1990 at Seaworld Orlando and is the daughter
of Spanky and Ralph. Sometime between 1990 and 1997 Steime was moved to
Seaworld Ohio where she on May 25th 1997 gave birth to her first
calf. The calf was a male and was named Rascal. Almost two years later, on
April 26th 1999, Steime was moved to Seaworld San Diego where she
just a few months later gave birth to her second calf that was a female and was
named Daphne. When Daphne was almost four years old Steime gave birth to her
third calf that also was a female and was named Zana. Zana was born in the
centre Animal Care where she and Steime lived until March 2004 when they were
moved to Rocky Point Preserve.
Later Steime was moved to Dolphin Interaction Program where she lived until she
was moved to the show centre in March 2007. There she gave birth to her fourth
calf on May 11th 2007 and the calf was a female and was named
Frankie.
Today
Steime lives in the centre Dolphin Interaction Program where also Daphne, Zana
and Frankie live. Rascal is currently living at Discovery Cove.
