Allua fångades in den 21 juni 1985 och kom samma år till Vancouver Aquarium. Där bodde hon tills hon den 24 juli 2005 flyttades till Seaworld San Diego. Idag bor Allua tillsammans med Seaworld San Diegos tre andra vitvalar Ruby, Ferdinand och Nanuq i anläggningen Wild Arctic.
